SUNDAY – visit Forte São Marcelo, a very charming place, Located in the Baía de Todos os Santos with a nice view of the city (of Salvador). You can also go to Stella Maris or Flamengo beach, a place with a lot of restaurants, bars, music and a wonderful view. Like surf?! Rent a plate of surf and have classes. MONDAY – spend the day visiting Cidade Baixa, an unique place: Boa Viagem Beach, Forte de Mont Serrat, Ponta de Humaitá, and try a very delicious ice cream at Sorveteria da Ribeira. These are good options to relax!! You can also try a typical food: cozido( a mix of Meat, Sausage, vegetables, legumes) together with music. At night, you can choose: Cortejo Afro (percussion band) or Pimentinha Bar (salsa).

TUESDAY – visit Barra Beach and check Forte São Diogo and Forte Santa Maria, historic places. It’s essential to watch the sunset behind Farol da Barra. At night, in Pelourinho, Terça da Benção. It’s an especial night with a catholic ceremony with African Rhythms at Rosário dos Pretos Church, also a lot of parties at bars and squares. Check a very cool place called Bar do Cravinho and taste different kinds of drinks. Besides it you can go to Olodum (percussion) or Gerônimo (salsa).

WEDNESDAY – Keep the day to visit museums – Afro Brasileiro, Gastronomia, Arte Moderna, etc. After that you can have lunch at Casa do Benin, authentic African food. After you can visit Igreja do Senhor do Bonfim, which is very famous. We recommend you to visit Santo Antônio, a traditional neighborhood and appreciate the sunset at Cafelier (coffee and sandwiches) or drink caipirinhas at Cruz do Pascoal Bar.

THURSDAY – good day to shop, Mercado Modelo( handcrafts and souvenirs), Feira de São Joaquim(spices, fruits, peppers), Pelourinho’s shops. What do you think about Capoeira or Dança Afro class?? Or watch a beautiful show of Balé Folclórico da Bahia??

FRIDAY - a nice tour by boat visiting 02 beautiful islands near Salvador. At night there are a lot of options: Rio Vermelho, good music, nice people and famous acarajé (typical food).

SATURDAY – The best is Visit some distant places from Salvador: Praia do Forte (beach, turtles, an old Castle), Cachoeira (history, museums, churches), Arembepe (hype village). Well, there are a lot of things to know that you will want to stay more than one week!
